SOURCE
Raw materials are sourced and documented before production begins.
We work with defined specifications for the ingredients that go into every product, with the relevant material and supplier information recorded as part of the process. The aim is simple: know what is going into the product before it is made.

PRODUCE
The finished product is manufactured to specification.
Ingredients are brought together and manufactured against an agreed product specification, with the finished batch assigned its own unique batch number. This creates a clear link between what was specified, what was produced and the batch that ultimately reaches the customer.

TEST
The finished batch is independently tested by a third-party laboratory.
Testing takes place on the finished product, rather than relying solely on raw material specifications or supplier documentation. A sample from the batch is sent to an independent laboratory for analysis, providing an objective result for the product that has actually been produced.

VERIFY
The independent result is checked against the product specification and label.
Once the laboratory results are returned, they are reviewed against the specification for that product and the information declared on the packaging. Testing only matters if the result is acted upon, if a result does not meet the standard we expect, the batch does not move forward.

RELEASE
Only then does the batch become available.
A batch is released for sale once the testing and verification process is complete. The result is then recorded against its specific batch number, with the corresponding laboratory report made available through TBJP VERIFIED: so customers can check the batch they have purchased for themselves.

Batch testing means testing the finished product, not just the ingredients that go into it.
Every product batch we produce is assigned a unique batch number. Once the finished product has been manufactured, a sample is sent to an independent third-party laboratory for analysis.
The laboratory tests the finished product and reports what is actually present in the sample.
This gives us an independent result for the specific batch that has been produced, rather than relying solely on the specifications or certificates provided for the individual raw materials.

For protein products for example, one of the key results is the protein content per 100g. This tells you how much protein was measured in the tested sample.
